James LOVES his baths! He splashes and plays so much that we have to refill his tub halfway through his bath because he splashes most of the water out. We have another type of tub that almost looks like a bucket that we use when we have to do a quick bath - he cant splash in there, but he is able to sit up by himself, so he likes it (just not as much as the splashing!)

James slept for 7 hours straight! Even he was shocked :) We went over to the neighbors for July 4th and he was in the best of moods. Everyone wanted to hold him and he was great - didnt even get scared with a few fireworks being set off in the yard. If it wasnt 90 degrees outside, it would have been the most perfect day.


His new favorite toy is his foot! He will wiggle it and laugh - its awesome that he has already learned how to entertain himself!

This was a very hot day (June 12) but James did great with the heat and meeting so many new people at one of my moms parties! He was all smiles and even tried to have a conversation with Joan (well she did all the talking but he was babbling right along with her)

the best cake ever - a diaper cake!

After putting James to bed last night, I walked out of his room and looked into our guest room and this is what I saw....

James was in a great mood yesterday for John's first Father's Day. And for a special gift he slept for 6.5 hours straight and then 5 more after being fed! We cannot believe how fast he is growing - it seems that every day he is doing something for the first time. Now he is starting to want to sit up all the time so he can see whats going on - he doesn't want to miss anything!

Last weekend (Memorial Weekend) we traveled to Columbus and James got to meet so many family members! He did pretty well but by Monday he was worn out and slept most of the day - which was great on our trip home!
