Beating the heat

True to Ohio, it went from raining and 50 degrees to scorching and 90 degrees. Looks like we arent going to get a spring season, but at least the sun is out! And we are out enjoying it :)

It was a great holiday weekend - and I cannot wait for the rest of summer!

All of my pictures from this weekend look like this - James trying to put the cap back on the camera... I think he is getting tired of me following him around taking pictures.

MIA

I know we have been a little MIA this past week, but there is a good reason. The sun showed up for a split second and we lost all reasoning - we ran outside and got lost in the moment. And then the rain and clouds came back and all we could do was cuddle on the couch and be lazy while we mourned. I really just wanted to start packing for somewhere warmer (I mean come on, it is May and the temperature did not even reach 55 degrees today - we have been wearing our winter coats!)

So in my weather depression, I did the only thing I could think of to make myself feel better.

I FINALLY got James' hair cut!

It was a very traumatic experience for James. I will never confirm nor deny that John might have needed to use some wrestler moves to keep him semi-still or that some of the customers waiting might have walked out to get away from the death screams... but that's neither here nor there - all that matters is that he wont be mistaken for a girl anymore! But a sweet faced happy little boy.

Who now looks just like John.
