Don't mind Madeleines crazy hair, but the kids love snuggling Matthias and he was being unusually cooperative this day so I had to get a picture. They usually get their snuggles in while he is sleeping because he doesn't care who hold him as long as he is being held while he sleeps. But when he is awake that is a different story. I think that might have to do with James and Madeleine only having one volume when they talk... VERY LOUD.

Matthias loves being wrapped up and carried around - which makes getting things done around the house much easier.

Madeleine thought that the baby's tummy time was too boring, so she started having a tea party with him. I'm not sure he enjoyed the game as much as she did.

This weekend we went to the zoo with a group of friends. It was earth day at the zoo so they had a lot of extra fun things going on like live music, face painting and tree planting. Super fun!

One of the kids' friends had a birthday party at a bakery. Each kid got to make two cupcakes from scratch and decorate them. It was a very cool experience.

March Madness

Aunt Liz and Uncle Dwight sent Matthias a Waterloo Animal Hospital onesie :)

James wanted to get a Mohawk (do all boys go through that stage where they have this need to get a Mohawk?) but with much convincing from myself and the barber, he agreed to shaving the sides but leaving most of the top alone. Its called a "dapper" haircut and it turned out really cute. And for a bonus, James loves it too.

For the James and Madeleine's spring break, John, being the wonderful husband that he is, offered to take them to Florida so that Matthias and I could have a quiet house for a week. And I said YES! So for 6 whole days, I got lots of uninterrupted baby snuggles!

And the big kids got lots of sun and sand! It was a total win win for everyone.
