We had a quick trip to Columbus last week. Going back home is always hard, there are just so many family and friends to see in such a short time. John and I left Columbus almost 5 years ago and we still have not figured out the best way to juggle everyone. The kids handle it like pros though, bouncing from one house to another - James loves all the attention and Madeleine gets spoiled because she is held the whole time. And they have become excellent car travelers.

 

 

James had his first sleepove and had his first snow fight! It was a big trip for him :)

 



 

 

 

 

Our trip ended with our car battery dying and leaving us in Charleston, WV. James was great, and basically just zoned out on Elmo when we finally got back on the road. It took over 10 hours to get home but we made it!
